The Contra Costa Watershed Forum is excited to welcome community members and watershed stakeholders to register for the 2023 Watershed Symposium. The theme of this year's Symposium, Intergenerational Watershed Stewardship, seeks to open an inclusive and practical dialogue between established watershed advocates and the emerging generation of watershed stewards. We hope that you’ll join us for a day of speakers, panel discussions, networking, and more.
This event will take place on October 26th, 2023 and will be followed by optional field trips on October 27th.
CALL FOR AWARD NOMINATIONS
The 2023 Watershed Symposium Planning Committee is seeking nominations of individuals and projects that have provided exceptional contributions to the creeks and watersheds of Contra Costa County between December 2019 and July 2023.
Award categories include:
● Watershed Champion
● Outstanding Contra Costa Watershed Volunteer
● Outstanding Contra Costa Watershed Project
● Emerging Leader
Deadline: To be considered, nominations must be received by midnight on August 11th, 2023 via the Award Nomination Form. Please read the award descriptions and criteria document before submitting nominations using the Google form linked below.
