Care for Crockett Waterfront
On May 20th, 2023, the CCRCD hosted the first ever Shoreline Festival at the Crockett Waterfront. Thank you to the guests, vendors, non-profits, performers, sponsors, donors, volunteers and partners who made it a success! An estimated 6,000 people attended this wonderful event, and enjoyed the clean coastline together.
The Shoreline Festival celebrated the social and ecological life of the Crockett Waterfront and emphasized the four elements of a watershed: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. The cleanup of the Crockett Waterfront has been a multi-year effort that was made possible through collaboration between partners.
We are so glad that the Festival brought community members together to celebrate the waterfront, and we look forward to working together to cleanup, restore and connect with more shoreline ecosystems in Contra Costa County.
The Mission of the Contra Costa Resource Conservation District is to Facilitate Conservation and Stewardship of the Natural Resources in Contra Costa County.
